Lake District: Yoga, Hiking & Wild Swimming Retreat

Step into the Lake District for a weekend of fresh air, movement and connection

About the weekend...

We will be staying at the beautiful Rookhow Bunkbarn, a cosy base with underfloor heating boasting lots of communal space including a spacious Yoga Shala & woodland fire pit.

Escape to the heart of the Lake District, but leave the crowds behind. Rookhow is a secluded haven of tranquillity, set in 12 acres of ancient oak woodland nestled between Coniston and Lake Windermere.

Each day brings the chance to explore the outdoors & move your body, with Mountain Leader Ruben leading the hiking routes and Kirsty guiding you through energising morning yoga and pranayama to prepare for the challenge ahead. In the evenings, she will lead a soothing practice to ease tired muscles and calm the mind.

For the adventurous, there will be the option to dip in the many tarns and lakes of the region!

No previous yoga experience is required and beginner yogis are warmly welcomed. A good level of fitness is recommended for the hikes. Sturdy walking boots, waterproofs and a willingness to embrace the natural outdoors are essential. Please note that toilet facilities are not available during the hikes.

BONUS: We will be joined my a Deep Tissue Massage Therapist and you'll be able to book in slots with her over the weekend in the magical woodland Yurt.
